The reserve is mostly bordered by residential development and can be accessed through Wandeen Road, Hilltop Road, Chisholm Avenue, Bilwarra Avenue, The Circle and Palmgrove Road.  The reserve is mainly accessed by exercise walkers, bush walkers and bush regeneration workers.
